What is Yiwu Fair?  And When? 

Yiwu fair is claimed to be one of the top 3 exporting products fair in China which may not be true, but it is true that this fair is the biggest event in Yiwu throughout the year.

At end of each October, between Canton Fair phase one and two, when all main streets in Yiwu are decorated with beautiful flowers, all main roads are paved with black shiny asphalt and marked with bright white lines, all glassy skyscrapers are clean washed and shining under sunlight, you know it's the time for Yiwu Fair.

Oct. 21 - 25 is the time for Yiwu Fair.

Yiwu Fair is on Oct.21-25, between Canton Fair phase 1 and 2, at Yiwu Expo Center, in Yiwu city, Zhejiang province, China.

What's on Yiwu Fair? 

According to Yiwu Fair official site, the 30th Yiwu Fair will be held at the Yiwu International Expo Center from October 21 to 24, 2024.

It will have 3,800 international standard booths, 2,500 exhibitors, and an exhibition area of ​​100,000 square meters, covering daily consumer goods, hardware tools, building hardware, electronic appliances, toys, electromechanical machinery, sports and outdoor leisure products, stationary and office products, and many other industries.

The four-day exhibition is expected to attract more than 160,000 buyers.

Difference between Yiwu Fair and Canton Fair:

1. Yiwu Fair is much smaller than Canton Fair, approximately 1/10 of Canton Fair size in number of exhibitors.
2. Canton Fair covers all over China, while Yiwu Fair has more suppliers from Eastern China, Central China, and Northern China.
3. Suppliers on Canton Fair are tend to be bigger, products are of more technology, newer designs and higher quality.
4. Yiwu Fair has cheaper prices than Canton Fair.

How to attend Yiwu Fair? 

1. You can visit Yiwu Fair alone, or visit both Canton Fair and Yiwu Fair together.
2. You can get a fair badge online, or have on on fair venue. Both are fine. It was very fast to enter Yiwu Fair, no more than 25 minutes, as per our previous experience.
3.  Both Yiwu Fair and Canton Fair offer invitation letters for visa if you have difficulties obtaining visa.
