FAQs

Q1: How to know the total fulfillment cost?

 -Shipping fee(total kg*price/kg + handling fee) + pick & pack fee. Example, for one parcel of 50g , total fulfillment cost will be 0.050*13.57+4.57+0.71 = 5.96USD.

Q2: Does pick & pack fees including packing materials?

 -Yes, it includes cheap packing supplies like bags, taps, labels... does not include expensive packing materials like boxes, bubble mailers etc.

Q3: How long is the total fulfillment time?

 -Shipping  time varies. For US, it takes 6 - 8 working days, plus 1-2 days pick and pack. So total time is usually 7 - 10 working days.

Q4: How long can the products be stored?

 -We offer 60 days free storage for fulfillment, then charge by day. 

Q5: Do I need to introduce my company and my business in advance? 

 -You don't have to but it is a good practice before starting. Here is an example from one of our customers:

"Our company profile: We are a relatively young but fast-growing company with legal domicile in Switzerland (please note that Switzerland is not a member of the EU). We come from the mental health sector and produce comics and books. We are currently in the process of having our own merchandise produced in China and are looking for a fulfillment provider in China or HK from whom we can supply our customers worldwide. Our products include desk pads, mugs, bags, plush toys, stickers, etc."

For your products, according to data from 1688.com, Zhejiang province has the greatest number of manufacturers, followed by Guangdong province.

Q6: Are there minimum requirements for number of orders, products, parcels shipped etc.? In case there are minimum requirements please specify.

-No, there are no minimum. After years of developing, now we have full channels to handle various order size from one single piece to one full container.

Q7: Where is your warehouse located? In mainland China or HK? Which location would be better suited for international shipping via air freight?

 -Our main warehouse is in Yiwu city, mainland China, which is about 4 hrs. drive from Shanghai airport. We also work with a small partner warehouse in Guangzhou, which is about 3 hrs. drive from Hongkong.

 -Regarding air freight, Hongkong has an advantage of being free trade zone and all shipments don’t need officially declare customs, many sensitive products like electrical products or products with batteries are sent via Hongkong. When shipping out of mainland China like Shanghai, Shenzhen, Yiwu… all shipments with value over 5000RMB (700USD), approximately over 75kg, need to officially declare customs. For generic products, it’s faster and cheaper to send from mainland China like Shanghai, Shenzhen or Yiwu.

 -If you only plan to have one fulfillment center in China, you can have one like us, we are in a kind of logistically center of China. Even when we have to ship via Hongkong, it’s only an over day journey plus a very minor surcharge.

Q8: Are your warehouses air-conditioned or protected from humidity in the hot months so that the products can be stored for several months without fear of damage?

 -Our warehouse is located on a floor size of 3600 sqm, it is very costly to have this size all air conditioned. We only have air condition in our office area, the product storage area has no air conditioner.

 -For humidity, we don’t have this problem as our warehouse is located on second floor, is well-ventilated on all sides. In the same building, we have lots of textile products stored and fulfilled all year round, so far, there are no case reported of humidity damage.

Q9: Do you accept a company registered in Switzerland as a customer? If so, what is the process and what documents do you require?

-We welcome all companies from all over the world. No need any special requirements.

-There is usually an account set up fee of 50USD/account. But we are having a promotion now, if we can start working in January 2025, this account set up fee can be exempted.

Q10: We use Shopify for our webshop. Is your warehouse / shipment process compatible with Shopify? Do you have an app or API for that?

-Not yet, but this is on our plan. We wish to have it in year 2025.

-Before that, we use a Google Sheet for each customer, it is updated in real-time. We have a dedicated staff member responsible for inventory management, who ensures the sheet is constantly refreshed with the latest information. As a result, you will be able to view the current inventory status directly within this sheet.

Q11: Our customers are currently domiciled in the USA and the EU. Can you deliver to these two countries without restrictions or are there some requirements regarding labeling, certificates, etc.?

-Yes, we do ship to these areas, currently we do mostly to Amazon, a little on Walmart and TikTok.

-I don’t think we will have restrictions on this. If there are, we will fix them.

Q12: Can you also deliver to destinations such as the UK, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India or China?

-Yes, we do, either doing now or will do it shortly. I don’t see any difficulties for these destinations.

Q12: We have prepared two samples to compare the different fulfillment offers and prices. We would like to know which transport options you can offer in these specific cases (fastest and slowest delivery option by air freight) and what the approximate costs are, including customs and other taxes.

Example A.) A parcel consisting of 3 items, weighing 900 gr., with a retail value of $99, shipping address USA-Dallas, consisting of a coffee cup set (package size 25x13x15 cm, weighing 400 gr., retail price $29), a deskpad (packaged as a roll, size 15x15x40 cm, weighing 200 gr., retail price $25) and a plush toy (package size 25x16x16 cm, weighing 300 gr., retail price $45).

-This product should be charged by volume weight which will be up to the final package size. For an estimated volume weight of 4000g to USA: 10 -12 days, 50USD; 7days, 60USD.

Example B.) A parcel consisting of one item, weighing 150 grams, with a retail value of $35, delivery address EU-Germany-Frankfurt, consisting of a tote bag (packaging size 40x40x2 cm - can be rolled or put together to some extent).

-For estimated weight of 150g, to Germany, costs about 5USD, delivery in 10-12 days mostly.

Q13: If we have the goods delivered to your warehouse from our producers in China, do the bulk packs have to be specially labeled or do you do this by yourself when you receive them?

-yes, they need to be labeled your ID as front mark and back mark (usually your name or company name in short, we will offer that when we set up your account). They also need to have 2 side labels state clear what’s inside (item code or description, quantity, carton size and gross weight).

-These are standard requirements for shipping which your supplier should feel comfortable with. 

Q14: Our individual product packaging is labeled with barcodes (EAN-13 / GTIN for retail and logistics with a size of 150% to 200%). Do they need additional labels so that they can be handled internally in your distribution centers or is that enough?

- Usually we will also need country of origin like Made In China or Made In P.R.C. on product packaging.

Q15: Any other services you offer? E.g. labelling with safety-stickers and barcodes, flyers, special types of packaging, etc.?

-Oh yes, we do full service covering sourcing, inspection, packing, prep/labelling, kitting/bundling, fulfillment, shipping... I will share with you our service agreement if you need.
